About Hali

Hali is a dynamic property management company that launched in 2021, with a mission to create communities that promote wellbeing and connected living. The company is proud to offer the following benefits:

— Competitive rates

— Time-saving, streamlined processes

— Fully connected environments through end-to-end technology

— Access to unparalleled amenities

— Fully furnished, move-in ready apartments

Innovation and continuous process improvement are at the heart of Hali’s approach.

The Project

Nostra’s SharePoint team undertook a comprehensive project to implement Microsoft Copilot and build out a SharePoint Intranet hub with user specific branding and permissions for Hali.

From licence acquisition to full team training, the primary goal was to leverage Copilot across the business, create a structured SharePoint intranet to make access to content smoother, and enhance internal communication.

Key Project Components

Copilot licence provision

Copilot readiness: tenant analysis, tenant security hardening, workshops, and configuration

Copilot training

Hub intranet development & branding

SharePoint end-user training

SharePoint administrator training

Sensitivity labelling

Data retention policies

Solution Overview

As part of the Copilot readiness process, a tenant analysis was carried out to review security settings and ensure the environment was secure before activating the licences.

This step prevents unauthorised access to content through Copilot. In addition, the security team implemented sensitivity labelling and established data retention policies to further safeguard company data as Copilot will not use content labelled as highly confidential to train itself, even if the user has access to the data (an optional, but highly recommended step).

A branded intranet hub was developed, with departmental sites linked to create a centralised platform. This allows users to easily access documents, company news, links, events, and more. Training was provided for both Copilot and SharePoint users, ensuring the Hali team can effectively utilise these tools for collaboration, content discovery, and documentation creation with AI assistance.

Following the SharePoint intranet build and several weeks of using Copilot, Rebekah Lavelle, Director of Marketing & Innovation at Hali, shared her experience:

“Working with Nostra’s SharePoint team has been a game-changer for Hali. The seamless integration of Microsoft Copilot and the development of our branded SharePoint intranet has transformed how we collaborate as a team. The training provided was thorough and made the adoption of new technology straightforward for all team members. We’ve seen a noticeable improvement in internal communication and content management, which has significantly streamlined our processes. Nostra’s expertise and support have been invaluable in helping Hali continue to innovate and provide the best possible service to our community.”
