  • The Role

Nostra are recruiting to fill a new senior strategic role of Installation Team Manager.

You will be managing a continually growing team, currently with 15 talented professionals across Infrastructure, Engineering and Project Management.

You will be entirely responsible to the delivery of all installation projects globally within Nostra.

The role will involve end to end accountability for business processes, integration of services across organisational units and business unit profitability. The role will also manage interfaces between project management, engineering practices and ultimately be responsible for the design, delivery and standardisation of policies and procedures within the Installation Department.

Leadership and interpersonal skills are paramount to this role, ensuring a motivated team work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.

You will have 8+ years of experience of Leading a team with full P&L responsibility for that team.

You will be comfortable working in both strategic and operational levels and will have previous experience of being part of a management team with demonstrable experience in delivery of P&L in line with budget.

  • Responsibilities

  • Requirements
  • Must have advanced working knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts that have been delivered in to a business
  • High level view of all technical areas most notably cloud technology and solutions
  • Demonstrate experience providing leadership and strategic vision within an area of responsibility
  • Ability to balance deep technical knowledge with effective communication skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills

  • Develop implementation and professional service methodologies for creating a repeatable, scalable and measurable client delivery infrastructure.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and that the last 10% of all projects is continuously delivered to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that customer projects are delivered against a statement of work and are in line with internal and other contractual requirements (estimated hours, agreed milestones, documentation, testing, customer sign off)
  • Work with Sales, Purchasing, Service, Finance, Contracts and Cloud teams to ensure ongoing and clear communication and seamless ways of working together.
  • Resource allocation, planning, and forecasting
  • Develop and monitor metrics for measurement of the Installation team’s performance
  • Proactively manage the communication with customers and cross-functional internal teams, managing delivery timelines and expectations, discrepancies and concerns
  • Work with Sales team to assist with scoping and quoting complex implementations
  • Serve as escalation point for customers to ensure high quality deliverables, solutions and customer management on projects
  • Ensure development of the Installation and PMO team with regards to product expertise, best practices with implementation methodologies, change management, and problem resolution
  • Provide customer relationship management during implementation process including collaboration with sales on change orders; developing/documenting SOWs – acknowledging implementation grey areas and managing appropriately
  • Drive continuous improvement throughout the department and organisation

  • Qualifications / Experience
  • 8+ years’ experience of team leadership and management
  • Proven track record in delivery of team P&L in line with Budget.
  • Demonstrable understanding of Server 2019, Hyper-V, Firewalls and networking, Office 365 and Azure

  • The successful candidate with be part of the Operations Leadership team in Nostra.
  • You will be responsible for maximising efficiencies within the team and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • You will be directly responsible for the recruitment of new team members and will hold regular reviews with your team members in line with Nostra policies.
  • You will attend the weekly, monthly, quarterly management meetings and will report as required on the performance of your team in line with budget.
  • You will contribute to the budget and strategy planning of the business.
